Tudor Plăieșu is a Romanian visual artist living and working in Romania and Germany. He has a BA in Graphics of the Academy of Arts (UNAB), Bucharest, 2007. Tudor started drawing very early, as a child, and we find him at 18 years old working as a professional artist. His artistic expertise includes today various techniques, as painting, mural painting, engraving, graphics, drawing, book illustration etc. He developed his personal mixed technique based on the ancient Byzantine painting tradition and contemporary techniques. Well known for its extraordinary force in the art of the portrait and its excellent skills in book illustration. Impressive portfolio as a mural painter.
